Food & Beverage Safety.
Hygiene requirements and safety requirements are enforced by the same people, on the same floor, at the same time — and a camera that can check one can usually check the other.
The safety picture in food & beverage.
Hygiene-critical environments requiring specialist PPE monitoring alongside standard safety compliance.
Food and beverage production runs to a hygiene regime that is already monitored closely. Protective equipment in these environments is specialist: hairnets, coats, gloves, and in some areas eye protection, each required in some zones and not in others. Checking that by walking the floor is possible but intermittent.
Compliance that is continuous
ZeroIncidents monitors protective equipment automatically and continuously across zones, shifts and teams — including customer-specific equipment beyond standard helmets and vests. The value is less in catching individuals than in seeing where and when compliance drops. Almost always it is a particular zone at a particular hour, and almost always there is a practical reason for it that can be fixed.
Wet floors and moving equipment
Washdown areas, conveyor lines and cold stores each carry their own risk profile. Falls, prolonged stationary positions and distress postures are recognised in a way that standard motion detection cannot manage, which matters most in the areas people work in alone.
Video that stays on site
Production areas are commercially sensitive. Video processing can be performed locally, so footage does not need to leave the facility or be stored in third-party cloud infrastructure, and anonymisation is supported where it is required.
